Chuck Egboka is a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) with over 20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, blending deep domain expertise in petroleum engineering with cutting-edge skills in data science, machine learning, and AI. He specializes in building predictive models, automating regulatory systems, and optimizing upstream production through the use of advanced analytics.

Chuck is the Founder and Principal Consultant at Cuttell Consulting Services Inc., where he helps businesses and professionals apply data-driven techniques to improve decision-making and regulatory strategies. His career spans regulatory leadership with the government, field operations in the private sector with energy servicing companies, and academia.

He recently served as an instructor in Data Analytics at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), where he taught Python, R, SQL, BI, and machine learning. Chuck has taught postgraduate students how to apply machine learning, business intelligence (BI) tools, and data science frameworks to solve complex business and regulatory challenges. He is passionate about transforming raw data into actionable insights and developing systems that are reliable, transparent, and performance-optimized. He was also formerly a sessional lecturer at the University of Regina, where he taught undergraduate students natural gas reservoir engineering and data analytics.

As the author of the Forecasting Canadian Dividend Aristocrats series, Chuck merges his technical expertise with a passion for long-term investing, financial modeling, and helping DIY investors leverage tools like R for smarter portfolio forecasting. His work is grounded in real-world applications, with a focus on TFSA optimization and transparent model validation.

When he’s not writing or coding, Chuck mentors emerging data professionals, leads strategic analytics initiatives, and develops open-source tools for investment forecasting and regulatory automation.
